About Our Strategic Partners

Our history in the industry and existence today as Fenced Air has allowed us to work closely with strategic partners focused on driving success in production and management.  They include:

Bio-Secure Air, Inc. has been instrumental in establishing their role and position as the foremost expert in filtration installation giving them valuable exposure to a variety of facility designs and needs.  Bio-Secure Air, Inc. provides the design, plenums, and installation based out of Fairmont, MN. No other installer has installed more filters.

CLARCOR Air Filtration, Inc.  (Jeffersonville, IN) has made significant investment in the development of a filter that provides the best filter on the market for the purpose of air filtration in swine facilities that weigh the cost/benefits of effectiveness, efficiency, and economics (cost). No other filter manufacturer has provided more filters for livestock air filtration purpose.

Dr. Scott Dee and the Swine Disease and Eradication Center has been instrumental in completing research that continues to confirm the ability to prevent introduction of PRRSv through the air as the process and execution of air filtration in the swine industry matures. No other researchers have done more to confirm how PRRS moves and how to prevent PRRS introductions in swine herds.

KMP Management, LLC, a partnership between Kerber Milling Co. and the Pipestone Veterinary Clinic, has worked diligently to ensure the behavioral aspects of daily management and protocol execution are aligned with the details and focus necessary to supplement the decision to filter all incoming air in large-scale production. KMP Management, LLC manages the first 100% filtered system comprised of 25,000 sows.

This network of strategic partners represents an accumulation of the foremost air filtration experts as well as most experience operating filtered farms in the world.

What the experts are saying…

Dr. Scott Dee

The data is fairly self explanatory. Two  of ten filtered herds broke with PRRS, due to non-filter breaches, over a two year period of time ending September 2010.  In the non-filtered control group, 24 of 26 herds broke with PRRS in that same period of time.
